ARE YOU ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS?
Yes, we are currently accepting new patients. You may book an appointment by:

- Call us at 309-664-0570. If it is outside of office hours, please leave a message and we will get back to you on the next business day when the office is open.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT MY FIRST NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENT WITH BLOOMINGTON FAMILY DENTAL?
When you check in at the front desk, there will be an opportunity to discuss any questions you may have about your visit and the comforts we offer you.
At Bloomington Family Dental we offer personalized care tailored to you. Your first dental visit will include informational and diagnostic procedures, so an individualized treatment plan can be developed and provided just for you. You will have the opportunity to discuss any concern, chief complaint and treatment desires during the one-hour new patient appointment set aside for you.
At this appointment, you will meet the staff who will be providing you care including the doctor, assistant, hygienist and front office. A comprehensive dental exam including appropriate X-rays, intraoral camera pictures, periodontal evaluation and oral cancer screening will be conducted. Your chart will be updated to reflect the existing condition of your oral health.
A dental and periodontal treatment plan will be developed and discussed in depth with you. At this time, you will have the opportunity to discuss any further concerns, and financial considerations will be discussed. Future dental cleaning and treatment appointments will be scheduled with the appropriate appointment times for your delivery of personalized dental care.
DO YOU OFFER EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS?
Yes, we do everything we can to see our existing patients on the same day.
If we cannot treat your specific emergency or are out of the office, we will get you to a provider who can help. We work with specialists in the area as well as other local dentists.
DO YOU ACCEPT MY DENTAL BENEFIT (INSURANCE)?
Yes, we accept ALL private dental benefit plans. You can find more information on our financial policies page.
However, we are not in network with any dental benefit provider and at this time do not accept Illinois Medicaid.
DO YOU OFFER A MEMBERSHIP PLAN?
Yes! It is a great way to manage your dental health in a cost-effective manner. You can learn more about our membership plan on our In-Office Membership Plans page.
I NEED TO RESCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Please notify us at the office as soon as possible to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Please let us know no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment. Your appointment is reserved for you and no one else. We recognize that your time is valuable and aim to run on time for the benefit of all our patients. In the event of a cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be responsible for a missed appointment fee.
CAN I PAY IN CASH?

DO YOU OFFER TEETH BLEACHING SERVICES?
Yes, we offer several types of take-home bleaching treatments for our patients. At any of your dental appointments, please ask your dentist or hygienist about what we can do for you to help you achieve the smile you desire.
YOU OFFER TEETH EXTRACTIONS, ARE YOU AN ORAL SURGEON?
We offer simple extractions in specific cases; however, we are general dentists and refer to specialists for most third molar (wisdom teeth), difficult extractions or implant placement.
